At the start of the FUE hair transplant procedure, individual follicular grafts are taken from a patient’s donor area by means of a tiny incision made at the site of each follicle using minimally invasive technology. The donor site is usually at the back of the head where growth tends to be the most robust. Only the follicles with the highest chance of transplant survival are selected for implantation. These follicles are prepared by skilled technicians with a high-powered stereo microscope.
