Welcome to Harrisonburg Family and Cosmetic Dentistry! Meet Dr. Khanna – she knew that she wanted to be a dentist ever since the young age of 13. Dr. Khanna grew up in an area where the water wasn’t treated with fluoride, so she had many dental issues as a child. During some of her dental work being done at a dental school, she got to observe the interaction between the students and professors and it showed her how detailed and interesting the dental field is. With her goal in mind, Dr. Khanna got into the University of Buffalo, where she met Dr. DeNicola. They both did their residency at the Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, where they got to participate in many cases they wouldn’t have outside of a general hospital. They briefly moved to Colorado together, but decided they liked the community back in Shenandoah Valley and wanted to put down roots there.
