How much did they cost?

i don't like this dentist. he only cares about money.
ALOT CAN GO WRONG WITH VENEERS. imagine if you get a cavity underneath the veneer, or you are in a car accident and something happens. veneers do not last forever.
he took perfectly healthy straight teeth and destroyed them for fake veneers
a good doctor/dentist should know when to say "NO".
just like when doctors tell people "no, we won't do more fillers or botox or bigger implants"

veneers were designed for OLD PEOPLE WHO HAVE BAD TEETH. not young people with healthy straight teeth.
my orthodontist friend was appalled at this dentist.

honestly, if you didn't have FAKE LIPS, your teeth would not have looked so small.

for someone so young, just because you can buy something with your parents money doesn't mean it is right for you.

I went to a hairdresser once, asked for a hairstyle – she told me "no sweetie. I can do it, but it wouldn't look good on you. beyonce has fake hair. let me suggest something similar but better". Best thing a professional hair dresser ever told me. and that's why people pay so much to go to her.

this is my issue with cosmetic doctors. they just say "yes yes yes" when obviously…. this girl 100% too young for veneers which you can't even REVERSE. you are now stuck with veneers for the rest of your life

honestly, a professional non-greedy dentist, would have recommended teeth whitening.
but i'm not judging you getting veneers…. i just think your dentist should have talked you out of it.

Wow, as a dentist‘s point of view(European) this is really scary, he is not completely truthful about the cons of veneers and holding back essential information from you. Americans have such a different philosophy regarding honesty towards patients and oral health. I completely understand you found your teeth too small, but healthwise….veneers are not enhancements at all, if you have perfectly healthy, decay free teeth to begin with, which you seemed to have. NOTHING can replace healthy biological teeth. Decay under veneers can occur not only by poor hygiene, but there is always a risk of not placing bonding material properly and insufficient bonding. This can lead to food adhesion, bacteria adhesion and thus tooth decay despite good oral hygiene. I‘m happy you are very content with the result and i must sah the form created by the dental technicians is really beautiful. But I always get stomach ache thinking about how natural healthy teeth are shaved down just for aesthetic reasons. Biologically seen I compare it to completely amputating a healthy functioning arm and replacing it with a bionic/mechanic one or limb prosthesis.

Great job, you look great. But have you been told that by the time you will hit 40 you may need a denture? Having veneers at such a young age means you will have to replace them more often throughout life an each time a doctor will have to drill your own teeth more and more to the point they will die and you will be left with no teeth of your own – hence the need for either implants or a denture. I am also desperate about my teeth they are the ugliest things…but I will wait until my 50s at least…befoe having any veneers done. I am 33 now
